I came across your site looking for the meaning of a black aura. I had an intense spiritual experience and ever since then there's been a black aura standing behind me. I've looked up black auras and most sites say they are bad things, however your site says that it's a good thing. While I cannot comment on the "intense spiritual experience" you speak of because I do not know the details of that, what I can comment on is the fact that nowhere within my website do I state that "black in the aura is a good thing."  

If you are referring to the information located on my Free Spiritual Advice pages, in the article: "Aura Colors: What do they mean?" 

I state: "Dark, muddy colors in the aura can signify unbalanced or low energy and possible health conditions."

And again, "Black: Black in the aura can indicate a very grounded person. Black is commonly believed to represent severe illness, death, deceit, sinister thoughts, sinister actions, deep depression, suicidal thoughts, hatred, malice."

While it is true that black is not "bad" or "evil" in and of itself as a color, (judges and many priests of many religions and other professionals wear black to convey authority and solemnity; many metaphysical practitioners wear it in order to assist with grounding energies, etc.), black energy, in the aura or elsewhere, can be negative indeed. 

Also, I think it's important to clarify that what you're describing does not sound like "a black aura," as an aura is the field of energy which surrounds people, objects, animals, plants, etc. What you're describing sounds like it could possibly be an independent field of energy rather than part of your aura. 

It would be necessary for me to have more information from you or to perform a reading of the energy for you in order to say for sure.

My advice to you would be to find and see a Spiritual practitioner with whom you are comfortable, explain your situation and, depending upon their guidelines and methods of practice, proceed from there. 

Please keep in mind that no authentic and professional clergy member or Spiritual practitioner will charge you exorbitant fees to assist you with this. Anyone who tries to take advantage of you by suggesting that you need to pay them to rid yourself of the energy is most likely a charlatan. Sincere professionals may charge you a reasonable fee for their time or certain services but most will not charge you anything to help you rid yourself of a negative energy.
